THE TEAM

Our team brings some of the hardest-hitting experience in the outdoor media world. From award-winning filmmakers and photographers to award-winning outdoor writers, we are equipped to masterfully manage all aspects of every project. That being said, we’re highly collaborative and work very well with others, particularly in accomplishing creative visions and team-oriented projects. Our team has worked cross-culturally, around the world,  on numerous collaborative projects.

a little bit about me

My passion lies in managing large-scale creative projects with big statements and impact. I have a knack for envisioning final outcomes,  identifying the best team to get the job done and managing complex moving parts in order to manifest substantial products.

My talents have evolved from nearly 20 years of working in the private, nonprofit and government sectors. Prior to becoming an independent creative project manager, I managed projects, people, businesses and properties in highly collaborative contexts. I’ve worked on the frontline of some of the most challenging conservation issues in the American West, including field researching the rarest carnivores in North America, such as grizzlies and wolverines. I’ve coordinated major public education campaigns for Idaho Fish and Game and the U.S. Forest Service, implementing landscape-scale communication strategies to educate a diverse public on natural resources. I’ve managed a preserve and cattle ranch for The Nature Conservancy, managed the world-class Henry’s Fork Lodge and co-planned major networking and media events (like Jackson Wild and IFTD).

That past research and management experience, combined with my creativity, has allowed me to take on collaborations that require serious team effort, ranging from scripting and producing outdoor and travel films to generating award-winning branded content to designing a sophisticated series of historical interpretive signs. My work has evolved into projects like Legacy of the Land, a 300-page coffee table book detailing a ranch history and including the contributions of 150+ museums, private collections, artists, essayists and others.

Within the project matrix, I often assume the role of writer alongside manager. My narrative nonfiction was listed as “Notable” in Best American Essays. My branded content for Armstrong Marketing Solutions has garnered several Addy Awards. And, my script writing with Off the Grid Studios has won categories at The Drake Fly Fishing Film Awards. While my home base for the last 20 years has been the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, my work has carried me from Scotland to the Seychelles.

I hold a Master of Natural Resources from the University of Georgia Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources and completed my graduate work on human-wildlife conflict in the Namibian bush. I’m additionally fluent in Spanish. I currently sit on the board of the Henry’s Fork Foundation, the conservation group which originally brought me to the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem to intern as a trout researcher.
